New York: What I Wore

New York; The fashion capital of America. I saw so many amazing outfits there I couldn’t wait to go try out the new Winter wear.

I chose my outfits so that I would be comfortable walking around all day. We would leave the hotel at 9am and wouldn’t come back until the evening time, so I needed to wear something that would last me and be warm enough for the October weather too.

Here is what I came up with.

I wore this the first day wandering around New York and it was insanely comfortable. A good ‘midaxi’ skirt can do you from day to night. I love mustard this season. I think it adds a lovely pop of colour to an outfit.

Jacket: Missguided

Top: H&M

Skirt: Boohoo *linked something similar as this skirt is out of stock

Boots: River Island

Bag: Kate Spade New York

Super casual wear for the second day. My feet were already killing me from all the walking around. So leather look leggings and an embroidered t-shirt was the way to go. It was still in the mid teens temperature wise so this light camel coat did me perfectly.

Coat: Zara

Top: Zara

Leggings: River Island

Runners: Asos: Nike Air Max Thea

The one night we actually decided to go out, I wore this Primark dupe of a Dior classic dress. I thought it was so interesting looking. However, we were just going to a bar so I dressed it down with these sparkly heeled boots from River Island.

Dress: Dior Dupe in Primark

Boots: River Island

Earrings: Primark

As soon as I saw this Tse Cashmere coat in Beacons Closet (the cutest little thrift store in New York) I knew I needed it. It sized down in it and the US size 4 fit me perfectly. It is such good quality and I know it will last me through the winter months.

Jacket: Vintage Tse (2007) from Beacons Closet (West Village, New York)

Skirt: New Look

Shirt: Pretty Little Thing

Boots: Primark

I love this cute peplum embroidered top from New Look. It is perfect for this time of year and the colour is lovely. These Penneys push up jeans are a perfect fit and so comfortable on.

Top: New Look

Jeans: Primark Push Up Jeans

Bag: Kate Spade

So there you go. I can’t wait to cosy up in wintery clothes for the next few months.
