It’s been a while… A few months in fact, since I last wrote a blog post. I have been taking some time off from social media and blogging. But this is a tradition I have done for the last 2 years, writing my New Years Goals for January, so I am going to continue it.
I always write my goals for each month and week in my journal. Its a great way for keeping me on track and accountable for what I need to do.
So anyway, let’s get into it, shall we?
My New Years Goals For 2019
Say ‘Yes’ more. I want to try new things, to open up my experiences and have a go, without being terrified of being judged. Just saying ‘yes’ might give me more of an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. I intend to track this in my Bullet Journal Daily Habit Tracker.
Say ‘no’ more. Ok, so the exact opposite BUT it does make sense. Saying ‘no’ to something I don’t want to do gives me my power back, and lets me know what is important to me. So it may sound selfish, but I intend to put myself first this year.
Journal using my new Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal every day. I use habit trackers, mood trackers and goal setting pages to keep me on track and where I want to be with my life.
Exercise a little every day. Hockey practice twice a week, matches, yoga and spinning. Between all of that, I’ll be busy!
Plan my meals every week. Again, I’m going to use my Bullet Journal for this, my meal planner spread and grocery list.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. I need to go easier on myself, and stop being my worst critic.
Meet a friend or talk to a friend once a week.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year!
